Visa Requirements in Oceania

Oceania for most people starts and ends at Australia and New Zealand (maybe Fiji) but there's many different Pacific Islands which occasionally attract backpackers.

Australia
Free E-visa required for stays of upto 3 months. www.immi.gov.au/visitors/tourist/evisitor/

New Zealand
6 months without visa, onward/return ticket is officially required.

Papua New Guinea
Visa on arrival is 100 kina (£25 roughly)

Fiji
4 months without visa, onward/return ticket and visa for next destination is required.

Tonga
30 days without visa, onward/return ticket and adequate funds required.

Samoa
30 days without visa, can be extended by 30 days in country. Onward/return ticket and visa for next destination is required.

Solomon Islands
Visa not required, onward/return ticket is needed. Advisable to have multiple-entry Australian visa.

Vanuatu
30 days without visa. Onward/return ticket is required.

Federated States of Micronesia
30 days without visa. Can be extended twice for extra 30 days at the cost of US$10.
